Angel Springs Event Center engagement session

This summer is shaping up to be pretty darn rad. It’s a transition summer, which means I’m shaking shit up. I ended my long-term relationship, but don’t worry, it’s an excellent thing. 🙂 So I’m focusing on me this summer. I’m going to Europe for work next month, plus I plan on writing the whole month of July, I have this suspense thriller in mind. I’m also going to do a standup class in August, as well as go to Florida and Colorado AND restart my masters in August. WOOOWEEEE. What a summer. I’m really looking forward to it though.

I love transition phases. Don’t get me wrong, I find change to be really nerve-wracking. And this particular change gave me whiplash. I also don’t really know what the rest of the year holds minus the summer plans, but I’m strangely okay with that. I am staying with my best friend Dani and her whole family. It has been a lot of fun, being in a chaotic family household. Prior to therapy, I struggled to be around kids. I struggled to relate to them, to interact with them. Hell, I wasn’t even good with kids when I WAS a kid! But now, I love the family dinners, with the sassy quips and lively chatter.

Basically, anyone that has known me long enough, is looking at me like I’ve lost my mind. I like who I’m becoming though. Changing as a person takes time and effort. More time than people would prefer, but permanent change takes patience. Something of which I’m learning to develop more and more!

Anyway, here is Travis and Rachel’s Angel Springs Event Center engagement session. HOW GORGEOUS IS THIS PLACE? I’m really looking forward to their stunning day this fall. It’s going to be a friggin’ BLAST!!!
