What a beautiful Austin Vineyard Wedding!
I’ll never forget the day Jesi called me. She was so excited on the phone, but also so nervous. She loved my work, but wasn’t sure if it was financially within the budget. Weddings add up, right? We spoke for almost an hour, about all kinds of things. In the end, she booked me. Boy, I’m sure glad she did! Knowing how reticent she was to hire me, made me want to work even harder to prove that she made the right investment. When we did their engagement session with holi powder, it was an great experience!
Getting to know Jesi has been a treat. We became Facebook friends, which happens occasionally and I got to watch her constant hustle. I swear, literally EVERY time we spoke, be it on the phone or voice clips or texting, she was on the road. She hustles harder than I do (although wait until near the end of summer….I restart my masters LOL)
She has a massive passion for wine. She actually sells it! Even brought me a bottle once!
So naturally, it makes sense that she and Joe got married at the same winery that he proposed to her at! It was a scorching hot day. Good lord, it was hot. Not a cloud in the sky either. There were times my brain didn’t want to work. I would get dizzy and almost pass out just because I stood up too fast. Water, water, and more water!!!
I’ve shot at a few wineries too, but actually never had leaves on the vines! What a treat! AND I got to whip out my drone! Benefits to a windless, bright sunny day! Drones are so damn fickle! But Jesi, being an adventurous client, laid down right there in the dirt. I’M SO LUCKY!!
