Looking for a unique Negril Elopement Photographer?
We gotcha covered!
Kristal, Josh, and I had the most chance crossing paths ever, starting with me sending my very first newsletter for my company back in March. I had never sent out a newsletter, but I thought that perhaps for Austin, maybe I should switch things up a bit! I sent it out and Kristal wrote me back, asking to meet about her Jamaican wedding. I almost died from excitement. Turns out, photographer after photographer fell through for her and she decided that enough was enough, it was time to hire a professional!
We met over Thai food, some of the best I’ve found in the city and we just clicked. I loved how in sync they were! They’ve been together six years, he’s a fireman and she’s a marriage therapist who just launched Austin Strong. They booked me on the spot and the planning began!
The wedding day was unique on its own. We had a 100% chance of rain at 3pm, when the first look was slated to happen. So it wasn’t too much of a surprise when it began to pour at 2:55pm. It poured for an HOUR and we battled with the resort to figure out whether we had to move it from the beach to the terrace. Kristal was determined to get married on the beach and the weather gods heard her prayers, because at 3:50pm, ten minutes before the ceremony, it stopped raining!
The good news is that the clouds brought the most stunning sunset ever as well. Everything worked out the way it was supposed to, which was a massive blessing. We didn’t even run late, which is rare! Shoutout to my faithful assistant Dustin, who seriously kept the wheels flawlessly turning with his help!
Location and all vendors are from Riu Paradise Tropical Bay. If you’re looking for Krystal’s friend, Michelle, who brought me abroad for her Mexico elopement.
