Pflugerville Engagement Photographer!

Of course, there isn’t a ton to do in Pflugerville, but I live there, so technically, I’m a Pflugerville Engagement Photographer!

All in all, I think I’ve used my Corona time wisely. I definitely haven’t worked out as much as I want. I HATE working out at home. I have a knock-off TRX system coming soon though, hopefully, that’ll change my angry tune. I have, however, rewritten almost 50k words of my novel from 2018. I’ve also been doing photography workshops, started two of the last three classes for my masters, and spent some real quality time with Josh. It’s been awesome, being in quarantine with my best friend. We ended up binging the entire Marvel Universe, chronologically. Now, he’s turning me onto Sherlock Holmes. All in all, it hasn’t been too bad. Of course, I’ve been terrified that I might lose my business. I don’t know of anyone in my industry that isn’t terrified of that. It’s hard to pivot a business like photography, especially since I have no desire to be a part of the flood education industry for photographers.

The first couple weeks were the hardest, for sure. Denial was met with grief as things were canceled. I grieved so much those first two weeks. I think we all did. Some days, I wake up and kick ass. I answer emails, do school work, write more in my book. Sometimes, I even cook and clean! Then other days, I’m down a Netflix hole, unsure of what day it is. Right now, it’s all about being kind. Making sure you’re practicing self-care.

I cannot wait to be working again. All of my June weddings are canceled, plus July. Honestly, most of my year won’t have weddings until the Fall. I’m not sure how I feel about this, honestly. It does give me an opportunity to finish my masters with less stress, plus hopefully finishing up my TEFL certification. I’m determined to cross off as many goals off my list as possible! Of course, I also want to make sure everyone knows I’m a Pflugerville Engagement Photographer because search engines require it!

All of this, just to introduce this pretty engagement session for Kiersten and William! William is fun to be around, we definitely bounced our extroversion off one another. They were so fun and game to do whatever I’ve asked of them. I’m looking forward to their wedding next year when hopefully, life is back to a more stable thing.

If you’re looking for more engagement photo inspiration, check out this session!
