Budget-friendly Backyard Wedding

Here’s a stunning budget-friendly backyard wedding!

You think planning a budget-friendly Backyard wedding is bad? You guys. I’m in the process of trying to qualify for a house and it’s a freakin’ mess. *sigh* 2020 taught me that I could have been running my business better. I think it taught all business owners that, really. Plus, buying a house as a small business owner is a whole ‘nother beast. Turns out, if you do everything right, tax-wise, you will struggle to qualify because you often write off as much as you can. I mean, who wouldn’t!? I didn’t even know how badly I wanted a house of my own until I applied. Now, I can’t stop looking up DIY home improvement projects. I’ve declared that I’ll build my own deck. Redo the backsplash if I don’t like it. Put up wallpaper and mouldings to look richer than I am. I’ve even sworn to myself I’ll make my own barn doors for my office if it comes down to it! Paint the cabinets! I’LL DO IT ALL. JUST LET ME HAVE MY HOME!

If I don’t get it this time around, at least there’s a path laid before me, telling me how to get it ready for the next time. Gotta look at the bright side, I suppose. Budgeting is hard. I’m an admitted shopaholic but I’m working on that every day. Can someone just delete Amazon off my phone, please?! I only buy things we need…except for those rainbow-colored chopsticks I suppose. And a sweater for Potato. Or that stupid amazing new vacuum that showed me how disgusting my home really was (okay, that was totally necessary).

Speaking of budgets, I wanted to show you a budget-friendly backyard wedding that is to die for! I love how Mallory and Brock planned this event in their small backyard. They had Chuy’s cater and as usual, that was delicious. My favorite part was the gorgeous flowers on the fence. It really lent a higher-end feel to the whole day. Some backyard weddings can be difficult, especially since some homes really aren’t built for it. I’ve done some backyard weddings that had an almost completely dark home. Talk about a challenge!

This was just a gorgeous Austin micro-wedding that is sure to inspire you. A budget-friendly Backyard wedding doesn’t have to look cheap, as this proves! Make sure to check out this backyard engagement session as well!
