This wedding was so damn unique! Micki and Hazel decided to have a small micro-wedding at the Winfield Inn this past winter. And their entire aesthetic is to die for! I’ve never had a wedding that focused on, as Micki said in the initial contact email, “Alice in Wonderland meets Twilight meets Labyrinth.”
This winter wedding certainly met that criteria! From the wings to the makeup, to the guests that embraced the theme. The sun set quick on this November ceremony, as it always done. I never recommend having a wedding ceremony planned after 4pm for winter weddings—if anything runs late, you’re getting married in the dark. Unfortunately, they did plan the ceremony for 5pm instead, but ran late, so we didn’t start until closer to 6pm. Of course, I don’t have a problem making my own light, but if you aren’t seeking this kind of lighting, keep that in mind while planning your wedding!
