Christina and Chelsea’s Wedding at D6 Retreat
Firefighters, dangerous shots, jumping in the pool.
What more could we ask for?!
This D6 Retreat wedding was a phenomenal blast!! Christina and Chelsea don’t live in Austin so this was actually the first day I met them (outside of hanging out on Zoom). Boy, was I in for a treat! Chelsea is a firefighter and on this particular day, I had the opportunity to really learn what firefighters are like. Spoiler alert: they’re hardcore partiers!!! That and they’re brave as hell. When I jokingly said, “We should have a photo of your friends tossing you in the air!” I didn’t not expect a very enthusiastic “fuck yes!” So there I was, absolutely terrified, on the ground pointing the camera to the sky, praying that this very muscular human did not land on me. She almost did! The first trial toss wasn’t the best. But I insisted on doing it over and over again until I got the exact shot I wanted! Make sure to scroll down to see this incredibly epic shot!
Imagine my delighted surprise when I also joked, “you should jump in the pool!” and received a “FUCK YES!” in return! So there I was again, taking some of the most epic shots ever. It’s weddings like this that I leave feeling on top of the moon. This career has given me so many incredible memories and the gift of creating memories for others. I just love it so much!
