Sweet Little Family

September 5, 2019

Am I suddenly becoming a Round Rock family photographer? I’m into it!

HOW IS IT THE FALL ALREADY.

Good lordt in heaven, how is this possible. Where has 2019 gone? I’m so confused! Life is in full swing and it’s been amazing. The summer ended with so much success and happiness, I’m so grateful. It’s been such an interesting journey, working my butt off to become who I’ve always wanted to be. I’m not quite there, but in the last six months, I’ve become kinder, happier, gentler. I’ve met someone who brings the absolute best out of me and frankly, it feels like I could actually take over the world.

This past summer really kicked my butt, but I took advantage of the transition to contemplate what I want to do with my life. I wish to connect more with my clients, my friends, my family. I want to have deep conversations and give support where I can. I want people to feel heard, seen, appreciated. I sometimes feel like I’m this human star and my job is to just share light. Does that sound cheesy? Maybe. I don’t care. It’s what I want to do.

This brings me to this session. I love sweet budding little families. Brandon and Linda are related to Mikhal, who is a long-time client of mine. They just had Isla, which is simply beautiful. LOOK AT ALL THAT HAIR! Even in late summer heat, Isla was a happy little sprout, easy to work with, and even occasionally gave me eye contact! I’m finding myself liking to work with families more and more. I’m excited to see if this is a new direction in my career. If so, gimme all the babies and smiles and love!
