What a fun Pinballz Arcade Elopement!!
Actually, instead of calling it a Pinballz Arcade Wedding, what I called this event was a Wedgagement, because while they eloped at Pinballz, they also knocked their engagement session out of the way by doing some really fun things around the arcade! It’s been a while since I’ve shot here but it was such a blast. They had the whole space to themselves for two hours, allowing me to just run around having a good time! They had a couple friends join them and after, there was some champagne. PLUS, Jacques appeared with a yummy kolache, resulting in the most Texan “cake cutting” possible. If you aren’t familiar with German Texan heritage, we love the hell out of our kolaches.
Then, of course, we went around Pinballz Arcade, playing the super fun games! I had a new assistant (shout out to Ethan), who helped me create this incredible lighting. Looking forward to their wedding in January, it’s going to be an absolute blast!
I can’t believe it’s almost August. It’s blowing my mind, really. I think 2020 is going to end and will be an empty blight in our memory. I’m just hoping 2021 isn’t going to be like this. I cannot imagine another year of this and I’m sure you can’t either! My puppy has been keeping me busy, which has been wonderful. Admittedly, I’m exhausted. The person I got him from lied about his age, big time, so we’re behind on what I thought would be the pace. It’ll be okay though! I’ve been spending some time outside…although it’s hotter than Satan’s morning breath after 9am! I have some new blow-up standup paddle boards that still need using. I’ll probably end up doing that this weekend, for funsies. Even if it’s too hot to exist more often than not! Do you have any good plans for the coming week?
