Chris and Adam’s Wedding at Thurman’s Mansion

March 19, 2019

This LGBT Wedding at Thurman’s Mansion is amazing!

One of the best and worst things about this industry is that no two weddings are alike. There’s a kind of magic when it comes particular weddings, the way the vendors, the couple, the day in itself…just comes together and makes real magic. It cannot be duplicated on demand. It cannot be controlled. You just show up on the wedding day and hope for the best.

That brings us to this wedding at Thurman’s Mansion with Chris and Adam, gave *everyone* the type of wedding we live for in this industry. Kindness, surprises, genuine respect and love, joy, easy going trusting attitude, delicious food, bomb music. You know, the simple things. LOL!

I’m *always* sad after these weddings, because it’s over. Done. But this wedding was just so incredible. I met my brand new friend Katie, who was an amazing second shooter, got to catch up with Kristi with Eclipse Event Co., and listened to one of the funniest best man speeches I’ve ever heard.

Next month is my eight year anniversary doing this business. It’s crazy to think that. Of course, I’ve been saying eight years for a while now…but I guess I’m doing REALLY well for seven years. I LOVE this job and I LOVE my clients. 2019 is all about hustling, changing and pushing through mental walls of fear. Most of last year, I spent too much time worrying about failure. This year, I’ve been trying to soak up words from major hustlers. I watched the recent Lady Gaga documentary and it was SO inspiring. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it here or not, but seriously…I mean, I KNOW you KNOW how amazing Gaga is. but to see her push through mental and physical walls, to produce art…that shit is moving.

So while this wedding is over, Chris and Adam in wedding bliss forever, I am SO excited for more happy joyful couples. I want to see more rings, beautiful dresses, thoughtful nerdy touches. I JUST LOVE THIS JOB! 🙂

Enjoy this stunner of a wedding at Thurman’s Mansion! Make sure to check out their engagement session too!
