Check out this stunning The Sanctuary Wedding!
Ohhhhh boyyyyy. To say I was looking forward to this The Sanctuary wedding is a friggin’ understatement. This wedding was as if two firecrackers got married and the flames were made of kindness and joy. Yeah. Something like that.
I love my job, but I don’t love every wedding I’ve ever done. I almost promise honesty and that’s the truth. Just like I’m sure you don’t like everyone you work with or every customer you serve. Some clients never even say thank you after I work hours and hours on their memories. So to have clients that are this kind and friendly is pretty amazing. All in all, I’m damn lucky when it comes to my clients. More often than not, I talk about this wedding or those clients, that are my besties now. I’m blessed to be doing this job and I hope to do it for a long time comin’.
The week before this wedding, we had nothing but rain rain rain. Even on the wedding day, it POURED until 11 am. Everyone kept the faith though and was rewarded with cloudy but dry skies. Ashley and Guy are also well-loved because they had 194 guests show up to celebrate them! I luckily had my good friend Katie second shooting with me, she’s a damn champion.
It was a long day and admittedly, I wasn’t feelin’ super hot. I forgot to grab a coffee and my brain felt like sludge. I had to beg Brian to bring me the black nectar of the gods and I felt right as rain after!
Any time I show up to a wedding feeling less than stellar, I push myself even harder. Which I guess evens out to my normal kickass self, just with more effort LOL This whole day though, I constantly looked for new ways to develop my eye. Some of the last shots of the evening are my favorite, so many sure to not skip those images!
