Look at this stunning Longhorn Caves Wedding! *insert heart emoji here*
Holy crap, it’s freakin’ October. I swear every month of 2018, I look around bewildered, wondering why it isn’t still 2016. I still have a stack of “summer reading” books that is getting bigger and turning more into a “hopefully sometime soon reading” list. It’s good though, the rest of 2018 holds a lot of hope for me. I just booked flights to London for next year’s England wedding. I’m swept up in trying to decide where to bring Brian after.
We’ll have eight days after five days in England (helloooooo Harry Potter movie set!!!) but after, I want to hop on a plane and GO SOMEWHERE. but where? ::sigh:: I’m honestly bored with Europe. At this point, I’m just crossing countries off my list. I kinda want to pick a country that I can take the most day trips to other countries from. I’m considering Dubrovnik, Croatia as a result. I can also see Bosnia and Montenegro during day trips.
I don’t know. I’ll figure it out. What I need to sit down and do is plan a trip to Argentina. I’ve been saving up miles for almost two years now. I have 200,000 miles saved for an epic trip and I almost…don’t want to do Argentina now. Ugh.
But I want to do something amazing. I want to push myself in some way. I want a trip I have to prep for, something to immerse into my daily life. I think about my Nepalese trip and how it was cut short. The regret mulled around into that decision still…I’ve always wanted to go horseback riding in the Andes.
I even cancelled a trip to the Galapagos…so many big trips, none of them completed. Maybe I should go to Africa. But safaris are $5k-$10k. I don’t want to spend that either.
I’m hoping the universe will help point me in the right direction. 🙂 Either way, I’m excited to show you this wedding at Longhorn Caverns State Park, with Ally and Toby. I love caves, ever since I went caving in Budapest. Turns out caving isn’t for me, as I learned trying to do it here in Austin, but I love caves you can WALK around in! So much easier than squeezing into a foot wide space and shuffling around on my elbows.
I’d love to shoot here again, I have so many ideas of what to do with images in the different Texas caverns!
