LOVEEEE this Gothic Halloween Wedding
I’m so excited to share this gothic Halloween wedding with y’all. When Paulina approached me at the wedding expo, telling me how she’d been following me on Instagram for some time…I was stoked. We had such an amazing engagement session with Holi powder, so I was looking forward to this incredible day! Here was this gorgeous goth bride, telling me about her black wedding dress. To say I was excited is an understatement. As 2020 marched on, I grew anxious about losing this wedding too. Luckily, most of everything is outside at this venue, including the dance floor, so it was safe as could be.
This gothic Halloween wedding was everything I wanted it to be. Beautiful black dress, thigh-high custom lace heels, a crown, a surprise puppy…what the hell could I ask for for a gothic bride?! YES, you read that right—a surprise puppy. Instead of a bouquet toss, Paulina adopted a German Shepard puppy and presented it at the reception. How freakin’ sweet is that?! We also lucked out with stunning weather. This “fall” has been so mild. We had a few cold days in September but man, this year was gorgeous. We’re halfway into November and I’m still wearing shorts and flip-flops!! Climate change? What climate change?!
My busy season is coming to a close. It was a fantastic time. After spending six months accruing new knowledge, strengthening my brand, and improving my client experience. It’s been a grand time and it’s also wonderful to see it in my work. For this gothic Halloween wedding, I even bought a fog machine, which was 100% worth it. I’m so grateful to my friend, Tiffany, who helped me the whole making all of this magic. Paulina was the perfect goth bride, even being amazing at posing in that huge poofy dress!
