Stunning Vista West Ranch Wedding!

Any time I was booked for a July wedding…I died a little on the inside. Do people not know how HOT it is in July?? Luckily, Vista West Ranch had a lot of AC going on, so really, this particular wedding didn’t feel like Hell had made a home in Texas.

Tonya and Ernesto were such an amazing couple. They had friends and family come in from all over the world, just to be there for their wedding. I remember looking at the venue coordinator in surprise when the tenth person got up to give a toast and share sweet anecdotes about the couple. There was a LOT of love going on that day and it was awesome! I especially loved the homage they paid to Ernesto’s late father, as well as the mother/child dances that they did. So many wonderful sweet tears, it was hard to not get overly-choked up.

So Tonya and Ernesto met years ago, in college and there is some serious love there. Ernesto (or Nesto as I began to call him, since apparently Nessie wasn’t allowed haha) shined like a light when he saw her coming down the aisle. Probably one of my favorite photos this year was that smile that radiated love in a way I don’t often see a groom express. It made me love my job all over again and with my current burnout, it was a sincere blessing.

Then, on top of a gloriously beautiful day, they had a sprinkling of rain and A RAINBOW!! IN JULY! What a blessing upon blessing. I loved it!
