Here Is Part Three Of Logan And Daley’s Wedding
Now that we’re on Part 3 let’s discuss how most photographers are only “natural light” photographers. I used to say the same thing, but then I realized that since I’m not doing film photography, it was just a cop-out. I didn’t want to expand my talent or knowledge. So, if you’re hiring a photographer, make sure they actually can handle low-light capabilities because when Daley and Logan first signed with me, we were going to have some daylight to work with. I wasn’t allowed to give input on the timeline (not the bride’s fault either), and thus…the whole wedding happened during nighttime. On top of that, Daley and Logan being vampires means that, seriously, strangely enough, my equipment kept acting up. It was an insane and stressful experience, but apparently totally normal for these two!
I shit you not, Daley just laughed and said, “MTV said the same thing when they were filming us.”
Glad I had the same issues as a massive television station. LOL
It was misting outside and freezing a typical Texas winter wedding. I bucked up and got some beautiful images done for this red wedding inspiration while frustrated when my flashes didn’t seem dedicated to serving me consistently. This wedding was a perfect challenge, throwing curve balls left and right, while my perfected matrix moves meant I dodged them all like Neo with flying bullets.
Once again, thanks to the below vendors for being professional and getting the job done! 🙂 If you’re looking for more red wedding inspiration, check out this Gothic Halloween wedding!
