You know what I’m really obsessed about lately? Nutrition. Food allergies. I’ve spent the last year working on my gut and health. I did a lot of elimination, starting with dairy (which really took me 3.5 years to give up), then nightshades and then finally, two months ago I gave up gluten. It’s been quite the journey. What I did recently though was do a trade with Maida. She’s a licensed and certified nutritional therapist and so passionate about food and health.
I really adore this woman. She’s such a gentle soul and really passionate about helping others. She also introduced me to the <a href=”https://thecastawaykitchen.com/2018/02/made-whole-ultimate-dairy-free-clean-keto-cookbook/”>Made Whole cookbook, which I desperately needed. It turns out I have some major allergies! I just got this food allergy/sensitivity test back that you can find here and found out I’m allergic to (just the highlights):
– Cows milk
– EVERYTHING gluten
– Eggplant (eww anyway)
Basically all of the amazing good shit…I’m allergic to. Awesome….not. The good news is that I thought chilis and peppers were out, since I’m allergic to most nightshades. I can also have cheese! I’m not going to try that again any time soon. I still have some healing to do. 🙂
