Looking for a Salado Wedding Photographer? Look no further!

You know, I’m big into gratitude. Back in the tail-end of 2015, I was heart broken and determined to change my life. There is this study, a total hippie study that I believe in, where a scientist tested the effects of words (and other things) on water. Since we are 90% water, the theory is that what we say, what is said to us, even what is on our bodies, affects us deeply. So there I was, heart broken, determined to change the trajectory of my life. How does one do this? Get a tattoo, duh. On my forearm, I had the words “grateful” and “worthy” etched into my skin. Grateful, because I am grateful for everything I have. Worthy, because I am worthy of the love I deserve.

I take gratitude seriously. So in most situations, I try to keep in mind what is really important. Mx. Corona is an avid teacher of gratitude, that’s for sure! So many of my clients have been forced to make difficult and heart-wrenching decisions, as I’m sure you can imagine. However, my clients are the type to rebound and make the best of it all. Lisa and Rafael are beautiful examples of this. Back in the winter, we actually did their engagement session on the coldest and rainiest day (this is that awkward moment I realize I somehow never blogged it?!). Rafa even let me spray ice cold water over them, to get the perfect fake rain shots! Their sense of adventure poured over to their determination to get married, even. after delaying their big party until next year.

Even though it wasn’t what they imagined, they embraced it. After a quick ceremony at their venue, we went to Salado to a brewery for some brewskies. I had never been to Salado…WHAT A CUTE LITTLE TOWN! This makes me want to be someone else’s Salado Wedding Photographer! And of course, Lisa brought her sense of adventure, along with a cheap throw-away dress. When we arrived, she mentioned the gorgeous creek beside the brewery. My question? “You’re willing to get in, right?” Her response? “HELL YEAH!”

I adore these two. They are kind, generous and so sweet together. I’m happy that they were able to make the best of it all. Like I always say, “a good attitude makes a good wedding.” Corona is really hammering that one in!
