To say I survived my busy season is an understatement. I *barely* survived it and even this far into June, I’m still recovering. Seriously. I’ve made self-care a vital part of my daily routine, trying to get clients cared for, while also making full nights of sleep a priority. Sleep actually is a HUGE thing I made a priority. During May, there was probably five nights total that I got more than six hours of sleep. Not even kidding. By the end of May, I was in a super dark terrible place. It wasn’t pretty.
And I failed a lot.
Like a lot.
The good news is that I’m catching up. I’m sleeping. I’m crossing things off my to-do list, easing the anxiety a little bit more each time I get something done. I’m hoping that by the end of June, I will have successfully caught up on business, sleep and self care.
ON THIS NOTE!!!! Let me present to you my final May wedding. Gosh, this wedding was such a relief to photograph. Nothing crazy happened, the couple was laid back and easy AF…I could have wept from joy of the easiness. And despite the insane storms, we got everything done we wanted to. I left the wedding feeling joy with my busy season being completed and also knowing I kicked some serious ass.
