Admittedly, I’m not one to look at the weather, especially on wedding days. However, brides are a different creature, ESPECIALLY in the last two weeks before their wedding. They’re checking the weather nine days prior and if it says even like 10%…I get an email that goes along the lines of:

“Hey looks like a hurricane is coming, I’m really panicking. Do you think it will be okay?”

First off, girl, come on. It’s in nine days. Calm down.

Second, I also don’t know if it’s gonna be okay. However, I can guarantee that if you enter the day with good nature, the wedding gods will bless us in one way or another.

However, I still struggle when I see one of my brides devastated when it rains and poor Rebekah tried to maintain her optimism, but her dream outdoor gazebo wedding had to be moved indoor. The good news is that not only did we get all of the photos we needed outside, we also got a breathtaking gorgeous image from the POURING rain. I mean, I was SOAKED. I had the foresight to bring all of my rain gear, so my gear was safe, but let’s give some kudos to Rebekah, who without hesitation, jumped outside with just a single umbrella, for said photo.

THAT’S the kind of bride I want in my life.

This wedding, despite all of the ups and downs of the day, was stunning. I’m really proud of these images!!!
