Here’s a gorgeous Austin Downtown Engagement Session! Check it out!
So I’m off this weekend to Cartagena, Colombia. I can’t believe it; I have wanted to go to Colombia for a while now and especially after Ecuador last year, I felt like it was time to go. At the most frustrating portion of my dissolving last relationship, I knew the insatiable need to go traveling signaled the end of the relationship meant it was time to go but I am *so* grateful for past Jenna, because I’ve never needed sunshine and sand so much in my life! I’ve been pushing myself in my personal life and on top of running a business and being a single parent to a very very very needy smart dog…I’m fucking tired.
I plan to catch up on reading, do some much needed writing and unplug in general. I’m going with my friend Brianna, who is a fun chick from NY. We met for two hours in Puerto Rico over empanadas and I loved her energy. She had come to Puerto Rico for a spontaneous vacation with a man she had just met.
“I figured we’ll know if we’ll work if we travel well together…”
“But is it working?”
“Girl no! We’re not even talking! But I’m still going snorkeling without him!”
I still don’t know how that flight home went….
So *that* relationship didn’t work, but we are both SO excited for salsa classes. I’m excited for the mud bath at a volcano. I’m excited for the cute boys. I’m excited to relax without responsibility. My pets are in capable hands with friends, my clients will be cared for…bye Facebook. Bye email. Bye boi bye.
I’m sure I’ll be blogging about it. In the meantime, let’s just sigh in appreciation for Irene and Eric’s engagement session. Sunrise is sometimes the best time for love.
